There is a big Johnny Appleseed festival in first grade today in celebration of John Capman's birthday. For a few weeks now Lexi has been asking if she could dress up like Johnny Appleseed. I wasn't really sure what that meant, so we Googled it and found this.....
....which was not what she had envisioned. She and her sister were up extra early this morning putting the outfit together. It was entirely their idea and turned out super cute! That's a pan on her head, girly overall dress, and a name tag that says, "Hi! My name is Jenny Appleseed". She also used an over the shoulder satchel instead of her backpack. Love it :)
