Aloha Friday - Who's Your Favorite Chef?

"In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response."

So head over to her site, An Island Life and answer her question but while you are here you might as well answer mine:

Who is your favorite Food Network chef?

I can't pick just one....Paula Deen, Rachel Ray, Duff Goldman, Bobby Flay.....if I had to pick one channel to have, Food Network would be the one (but that's a whole different question)!
Interested in joining me for my Food Network Chefs Cooking Challenge??

  1. I love Guy Fieri and Tyler Florence. I think they'd be fun to hang out with, and of course they'd be doing all the cooking! :-)

    Happy Aloha Friday! http://www.chocolatefingerprints.net/2009/08/aloha-friday-holidays.html

  8. I used to love Rachael Ray but don't as much as before. I would have to say Paula Deen is my favorite. But, to be fair, I haven't watched Food Network in a long time!

  9. Oh I love Food Network. We are big fans of Paula in my house and Sandra Lee. Well, almost any of them really. I miss Ready, Set, Cook! and the Two Fat Ladies :D

When my son was 2 he had an obsession with Sara Moulton. He would go anywhere at the sound of her voice, very funny.

  10. I only get to watch Food Network once in a while, since we don't have tv, but it would be an addiction if I had the chance. I really like Alton Brown's wacky scientific approach to cooking. But I also love the sheer unhealthiness of Paula Deen's recipes.

  12. Yikes! I don't receive any food channels so I am in the dark about this question, for the most part! How about The Naked Chef! I've seen his cookbook and I love his idea of cooking light and natural!

  13. As much as Rachael Ray annoys me, her style of cooking is most on a par with my tastes, so I pick her.

  16. Hmmm...got nothing I think the only one I watch sometimes is Rachal Ray, and while I used to think I would love her, I think she is a horrible host! (NO OFFENSE!). I like TLC's cake boss...cause I like to look at all of the cool cakes the guys makes!
